2nd Year: LIAP Returns to Benedict College
Love Is A Parable returns for the second year as ACE Facilitator at Benedict College.
Benedict College is a private historically Black, liberal arts college in Columbia, South Carolina. Founded in 1870 by northern Baptists, it was originally a teachers' college. It has since expanded to offer majors in many disciplines across the liberal arts.
Offered through their Career Pathways Initiative and Service-Learning Department, the goal of the Academic Career Explorer (ACE) Program is to provide academically challenged students with a specially designed space for career development, structured with their specific needs in mind. Through ACE, students will participate in interactive support sessions to better understand the skills and strategies they will need to succeed in their chosen careers. Engaged ACE participants will receive support for their career aspirations and gain career skills required for success in their chosen field of study.
On September 7, 2021, we began Week One of a seven-week training and development series. The remaining dates are listed at the following.
