711: The Meaning of a Dynamic Cohort

Everything happens for a reason and everything has a meaning…

When thinking of the Seventh Cohort, consisting of eleven individuals, several things came to mind. One, being the meanings of the numbers seven and eleven.  Seven, often being seen as a number of perfection and completion; is also, one of discovery of truth and underlying meanings.   Then, there is eleven, a number of intuition and power.   This is not an attempt to teach numerology but an invitation to explore, search within, and see more than the obvious.   See, there are several ways to measure the success of an organization; however, it is believed, through meaningful connections we find the correlation between mission and impact.   After spending eight weeks with these remarkable individuals, we have come to the conclusion that we are on a positive trajectory. The diversity of knowledge, experiences, perspectives, cultures, and ethnicities was greatly appreciated while adding an enriching learning encounter circumvolved on the foundation of Ephphatha.   

What a beautiful feeling, to witness collaborative learning and community building at the same time.   Much like the combination of 711.  It is believed that seven and eleven, together, allow certain things to take place:

  • Spiritual Enlightenment

  • A shedding of old things and repositioning for new

  • A desire for more meaningful connections

  • An acceptance and appreciation for organic self

Honestly, all of these things were witnessed with this cohort.  Networking and comradeship took place before the eight weeks even were up.   More so, new businesses and new business connections were formed.   This is truly a pure reflection of what we are about, unity and kindness, hanging on the wings love.
