UPDATE:Father's Day Bailout Partnership

In an attempt to combat negative isms and forge unity, Love Is A Parable has decided to join forces with Recidivism Reduction Educational Program Services (RREPS), Inc. in their initiative, “Father’s Day Bailout.” Through this initiative, there is a desire to assist fathers charged with low-level crimes the opportunity to reconnect with their families on, near, or by Father’s Day.   We’d be the first to admit that we possessed a great deal ignorance regarding the laws and the judicial system; but after being educated, we felt compelled to support.    See, many of these gentlemen are only being held due to the lack of economic resources and the inability to afford bail.  Though we are not condoning any criminal misconduct, we do recognize the need for leniency and grace as many of us have been given.    Additionally, we understand that the impact of a poor decision can affect more than the accused individual(s).  In many instances, the family, friends, and community are also impacted.    Upon their arrival to the family unit, Love Is A Parable has been asked to step in and provide support through our love advocacy program.  What is greater than having an opportunity to simply love these fathers and meet them where they are?  Earlier this week, we fortunate to attend a press conference to our partnership and initiative as well as provide an opportunity for others to support.  We must break the cycle of prematurely labeling individuals as criminals.
