Brother Empowerment Reflection: Humbled

Humbled.  In less than two years, we have witnessed countless confirmations that love is necessary and Love Is A Parable is equipped to bring awareness, education, and restoration to its identity.  From the perfect weather to the infectious laughter, humility abounds.   Surrealism coupled with the perfect soundtrack as perfect strangers embodied the efficacious influence of Social Media, we connected. In fact, we engaged, empowered, and fellowshipped in love.   For a brief moment, we escaped the stressors of the world, and even our personal lives to be invested in this ineluctable experience.   Humbled.

Consumed with reverential respect mixed with astonishment, wonder, and pure relief, we embraced each other as family members who have reconnected after losing contact.   As men and their families gathered, it was a corporate sigh that seemed to be felt amongst all who attended.  The scenery appeared to be something out of the story books but was needed to usher a communal mindset and encounter.  The children laughed and played, reminiscent of the days of old.   The youthfulness of love was reinstated, understanding that love advocacy requires a level of empathy behind the guise of social constructs and expectations. Humbled.

Empowerment happens when defenses are down, walls are crumbled, and security is engaged.  A safe place was induced through food, music, and light atmosphere.   Genuine support for effective change was acknowledged with honor.   History was made and stereotypes debunked, as men corralled with no presence of hostility and/or competition.   Trust was established and love was infused.  See, even the women present understood that men need empowerment and it is a community-assignment and not gender-based.    We were provided a foundation for greater, today. Humbled.

We must be encouraged to listen to our purpose, trust the process of fulfillment, and never second-guess love.  Often times, overthinking can create destructive and/or damaging behaviors because it has the potential to fortify doubt.   Love travels, but doubt is just there. Love is obtainable, transferable, qualitative, quantitative, and boundless; whereas, doubt has no comparison even to the opposite realm. That is why ignorance is bliss; it is the presence of the lack of truth, even the lack of love. There is no equal to love, only endless discoveries that exceed our comprehension.   Love never fails or gives up on us.   Love is evident and always provides ways to empower, this alone, was apparent today.   Humbled.
