J. Dwayne Garnett: I Am A Poet First!
Before anything else, I was a poet! Correction, I AM a POET! No matter what, I'll always be one. I vow to always show appreciation for the gift of poetry. It is there, when I feel vulnerable, misunderstood, and lonely. It is there, that I receive acknowledgement, accolades, and encouragement.... I'll never stop loving poetry.
