Week 27!! Rysse's last update on her journey!!

Fall Into Winter 22

Good evening beautiful people,

Today is my last entry for the #FallIntoWinter22 Challenge. I did not make it to the over two pounds lost mark. However, I didn’t gain any weight, and I gained insight into sugar and portion control.

I’m still excited because most of the ladies that joined my challenge lost over thirteen pounds, and I’m very excited about their progress. At the end of the challenge, I learned that it wasn’t about the scale, but about community and not giving up on ourselves. I literally put the scale away, and on some days I took my Fitbit off to just enjoy the day instead of constantly checking numbers. This is what I think my nutritionist was trying to get me to do lol. She’d be proud of me. 

My goals of lighter weights, more running, better portion control, and more discipline are still the same. I’m going to take the knowledge that I learned and continue to press toward my fitness and overall health goals. I may have started my journey almost three years ago and lost nearly eighty or so pounds, but my journey is still beginning and I’m proud of myself for not giving up on ME.

Thanks again to all the ladies that joined me. I AM SO PROUD OF Y’ALL. I pray that you continue to press on in your individual journeys.
