Week 18! Hello, July! Bringing in the 4th with more great weight loss.

Good Afternoon Beautiful People,

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend or extended weekend. Well, let's recap these last two weeks. Let me start off by saying the week before last was awesome. I didn't meet my strength training goal but exceeded on everything else. I just really think, no I know I love being in nature better and moving while clearing my mind in the beauty of God's creations. It's a different type of freedom that I enjoy. Now last week is a different story lol. It was the week before and doing my menstrual and I dropped everything and decided to rest because of feeling tired. I listened to my body and I'm okay with resting at the moment. I didn't act on every craving, because I know I had to really watch what I ate because I wasn't exercising, well I did walk once lol. And I'm actually shocked the scale doesn't reflect more because my menstrual is still on and I had about more than my usual of cheating. I know y'all probably like she mentions her menstrual a lot, and that's because it plays a major role in women's fitness and we have to go through it EVERY MONTH. Have you ever had to fight your regular cravings, then your menstrual cravings, on top of being hormonal? If not, then you honestly don't know what we go through on a monthly basis. So, women are kind to yourselves while crushing your goals.

This week I plan on getting back on track, starting with a 10-mile hike/walk today and weights tomorrow at home since the gyms are closed. I promised myself that I'm hitting the gym at least two times which is the main goal, but I know I'm going to do more hiking/walking. I also plan on doing more Hip Hop Step classes. I was actually disappointed in myself for not going to class last week because it was my instructor last week at the gym...I think I'm going to join her Monday classes, I just have to get out my own head on I'm not skilled in stepping at all, yet I enjoy it

I also joined a young lady on Facebook with a water challenge, nothing but water for the month of July and I already want two large cups of coffee and an MTN Dew Zero Sugar.

Pray for me as I pray for myself and I hope everything is going well in the personal journeys y'all are on. Continue to push, yet learn to appreciate resting.
