This Has To STOP!!! You Must Appreciate You!

Being comfortable in your skin includes being comfortable with who you are.  Often times, we attempt to separate who we are from the things that we enjoy.  Well, I refuse to continue punishing myself for loving various things!   I am multifaceted, complex, and limitless.   I admit there has been a huge struggle with vocalizing my spiritual side.   I believe that spirituality is personal and should remain private.   However, I understand that we must serve as midwives, assisting others to birth.   After years of being held captive and oppressed by religious bigotry and mistreatment, I decided to chase freedom and embrace a higher level of consciousness. For me, I found my way through Messianic Hebraism; here, I found peace, solace, and understanding.   However, I recognize others may choose a different path...and, that is perfectly fine. I am still focusing on redefining and perfecting me.   Though I escaped, I still struggled with the idea of being perceived as a "preacher".  So, I would only post generic-inspirational messages... too afraid to offend.  Unknowingly, this was becoming another prison for me.

Today I declared to love me and embrace me, completely.  I get it and I understand, I am a preacher, minister, a teacher of scriptures, or whatever other label one would like to assign.   Equally, I am an educator, author, and speaker.    Nothing has to be taken away to be great.  I am great because of who I am, not because of what I do.
