Week 7: Journey to 36 w/updates from Breona and Ashley!
Good Morning Everyone,
This is going to be another short and sweet blog entry lol.
I'm proud of myself for not taking a lazy, non-active week, but disappointed in myself for not going to the gym at least one time. I did weight train at home and went hiking twice. Last week was my Pre-menstrual and some of my menstrual time. I absolutely didn't want to do anything but pushed myself to do something at home. I wanted to cancel my hiking, but I knew my friend would have reminded me of my goal, so I didn't. I wanted to sleep and had nothing but sweet cravings.....but, I waited for my sugar date and had a chocolate chip cookie from Whole Foods. I did get more sleep but didn't work on yoga as I planned.
I plan on doing more yoga, going to the gym at least three times, and hiking. I need to utilize my calendar and put down what I'm going to do that particular day because I will be winging it most of the time.
I'm grateful for last week because I can see, but I'm coming up with a plan for improvement. I'm also thankful, for a good support system, because sometimes you need that extra push and encouragement to get you through those rough days.
SO IMPROVEMENT IS THE WORD FOR THE WEEK and I can't wait to see what this week brings. I can't wait to update y'all next week and thanks for reading.
Love,
Rysse

Breona’s Journey: Plans to lose 66 pounds!
A word from Bre…
I’m really happy that I decided to join this journey. I started working on my weight back in 2018 and it’s been a constant battle ever since. Sometimes I lack motivation and discipline, especially when it comes to food. I’m also an emotional eater, and not just the bad emotions, the good ones too! I’ve lost 10+ pounds since the beginning of March and I have more good days than bad. I’ve been able to hit my goal of working out 5 days a week and getting better at meal prepping. I’ve always been a big water drinker so drinking a gallon a day has been easy to do. Usually, I have a cheat day on Sundays; however, I noticed it starts to trickle into my weeks. I start the week rocky, then start picking back on around Wednesday. I plan to do much better this week and will be meal prepping today.
This journey is teaching me about myself and learning what works and what doesn’t work. For example, I know that if I’m running out after work I need to pack a snack. If I don’t I’m usually starving by the time I get back home which causes me to eat everything I see. I’ve also started buying snacks that only my daughter likes to prevent me from making unhealthy decisions. Anyways, new week, new goals. My goal this week is the same as last week, I’m going to weigh in under 300 pounds next week. My graduation is coming up so that’s definitely motivation!
