The Recap: Love Is A Parable Ribbon Cutting and Fundraiser Ceremony

Last night, the Love Is A Parable Ribbon Cutting and Fundraiser Ceremony unfolded beautifully at the Holly Springs Masonic Lodge. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this event a resounding success. Your support and dedication showcased the incredible power of community collaboration, and we are thrilled to share the highlights of this extraordinary evening.

A Night of Celebration and Connection

Thanks to our partnership with the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce and the generous sponsorship from Thrive Skin + Wellness, we created a warm and inviting atmosphere filled with joy, laughter, and inspiration. The evening began with the soulful voice of Kim Person, who opened the event with her uplifting song "Fall On Me." Her performance was not just musical; it was a heartfelt testimony about how Love Is A Parable has positively impacted her business and ministry, reminding us of the ripple effect of our collective efforts.

Guests enjoyed a stunning grazing table that received rave reviews, showcasing the culinary expertise of Full Street Catering Services. One attendee remarked, “It’s not just food; it’s a celebration of our shared journey!” This sentiment truly captured the essence of the evening. The lively beats provided by World Class DJ Ty kept the energy high, creating an atmosphere of celebration and camaraderie.

Powerful Testimonials

We were honored to hear from several influential leaders in our community who shared their experiences and insights, emphasizing the meaningful work that Love Is A Parable is doing:

  • Sandy Byrne, Pastor and Director of Connections and Outreach Ministries at Oasis Church and Holly Springs Interfaith Alliance Board Member, spoke passionately about the impact of our work.

  • Bill Rose, Lead Pastor at Oasis Church, highlighted the importance of community engagement and collaboration.

  • Dr. Tiameshia Walker-Smith, Executive Director of ATHENA of the Triangle, shared her thoughts on leadership and empowerment.

  • Merald Holloway, Executive Director of NC-100 and Partnership Manager at MDC, emphasized the significance of working together to address community needs.

These testimonials were recorded at Thrive Skin + Wellness, where Mohammad Sadat of Mizghund Productions expertly captured and edited the footage, ensuring that the stories shared would resonate beyond the event.

Closing Out with Inspiration

The ceremony concluded on a high note with a performance by Iconic Bond, who delivered his positive, affirming hip-hop track "Aim High." His energetic performance encapsulated the evening's spirit, inspiring all attendees to pursue their goals with determination and optimism.

We also want to extend our sincere thanks to the brothers of the Holly Springs Masonic Lodge for providing a welcoming and accommodating venue, allowing us to celebrate this important milestone in our journey.

Reflecting on Our Mission

One of the most significant takeaways from the evening was the reminder that while we have accomplished much, there is still substantial work ahead of us. The ‘good’ work is still very necessary, and being loved-centered still matters. The testimonials underscored the effective and meaningful initiatives of Love Is A Parable, reinforcing that together, we can address the unique needs of individuals and organizations through our Value-Based Education programs.

As part of our commitment to fostering personal and organizational growth, we proudly announced the first phase of our Value-Based Assessment. This assessment invites participants to engage with reflective questions that reveal their core values and guiding principles. We encourage everyone to take this important step toward understanding and aligning with their values. Rest assured, all responses are completely confidential.
