The year 2023 has been nothing short of remarkable for Love Is A Parable, an organization committed to value-based education and reflective storytelling. With every passing day, we've been engaged in activities that have allowed us to collaborate with remarkable organizations and contribute positively to our community. Our journey this year has been a testament to the power of partnership, the significance of shared values, and the profound impact that can be achieved when we come together with a common purpose.

A Year of Partnerships

One of the core principles that drive Love Is A Parable is the belief that we can achieve more together than we ever could alone. In 2023, we've had the privilege of joining hands with some extraordinary partners. Our journey began with workshops in partnership with the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce, with support from The Town of Holly Springs, TowneBank, Accelerating Men, Oasis Church, and AENC Young Professionals. These workshops weren't just events; they were opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with our community.

A Voice in the Media

Love Is A Parable received a special mention in Main & Broad Magazine, a recognition of the efforts and initiatives that have defined our year. Being featured in this publication was not only an acknowledgment of our work but a platform to share our vision for a better, more compassionate world.

Community Engagement

Our engagement with the community extended beyond workshops and articles. We believe in the power of open dialogue and conversation, which is why we participated in several enlightening podcasts. These platforms, such as L.O.V.E & Flow, Honey & Hustle, Envision RISE, At The Helm, and Grown Folks Business, allowed us to delve into essential topics and share our insights with a wider audience.

The Heart of the Community

Community engagement has been at the core of our mission. Love Is A Parable partnered with the Holly Springs Interfaith Alliance to provide nourishing meals to communities in need. We had the privilege of participating in events like the Holly Springs Springfest, bringing our message of unity and value-based education to the wider public.

A Year of Speaking Engagements

The power of spoken word is undeniable. Love Is A Parable had the honor of speaking at numerous events, including the You Can Leadership Summit in Taraboro, NC, the Juneteenth Celebration in Reidsville, NC, Shepherd’s Flock Baptist Church in Durham, NC, The Gathering Event hosted by SHE-EO in Raleigh, NC, and the Mental Health 5k Walk and Run in Raleigh, NC. These platforms allowed us to spread our message of unity and value-based living.

Spreading Compassion and Love

At the core of our work is a commitment to compassion and love. Our involvement extended to events such as Compassion Day in Holly Springs, Compassion Day 2 Follow-up in Raleigh, and the Pink Out Comedy Show in Apex. These initiatives aimed to uplift spirits, bring laughter, and foster a sense of togetherness in the community.

Many of the services we provide are made possible through the generosity of our donors and the support of our partners.
