After being in business for several years, we quickly learned that the term “nonprofit” has a tendency to mean different things to many different people. Because of this, organizations like ours tend to encounter perceptual barriers that manifest into damaging stumbling blocks in the advancement of our organizational mission and vision. Early on, we were bombarded with the age-old question of “why are you guys a nonprofit?”  Some would even go as far as to state that there is no money in nonprofits while overlooking the successes of United Way, The YMCA, Goodwill, and several others.  Having a nonprofit simply means that “no part of the organization’s net earnings can inure to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual.” However, nonprofits can and need financial resources to ensure their mission and vision are fulfilled.

As with many of our fellow nonprofits, we desire to impact positive change, more specifically, through love-focused and value-based education. Though content is readily available, many struggle with seeing past their perceptions of nonprofits to conceptualize the work and importance of Love Is A Parable.  Considering our high value placed on education, we are honored to provide clarity regarding a few misconceptions that we frequently address. They are listed as the following:

Are you a church or religious organization?

No, we are a charitable and an educational 501c3 organization, that provides character, social, and leadership development to those who have an aspiration toward unity, love, and kindness.

Are you or do you provide life coaching services?

Well, it depends.   Typically, we state no because life coaching is a type of wellness that helps people make progress in their life goals in order to attain greater fulfillment. Though we desire personal fulfillment as well, we tend to lean toward a paradigmatic shift with an end goal to hope that our participants achieve meaningful interconnections and unity. I am low on funds or don’t have any money, how else can I support?

• Financially, this isn’t the only way to support our organization.  In fact, there are several ways to help.

• Share our message with your friends, families, or organizations that may benefit from our several.

• View our content and get familiar with our services, so you can represent or advocate for us in opportunity enriched places.

• Help us find funding; whether through grants, corporate entities, and/or individual contributors.

We are a charitable and an educational 501c3 organization, who provide character, social, and leadership development to those who have an aspiration toward unity, love, and kindness through a reflective thinking approach and sacred-box theory.
