Everyone has a crossroad to travel that typically lands on the intersection of purpose and identity.   Unfortunately, neither can truly be accomplished without understanding self.   Many assume that if we have achieved fulfillment, then we have automatically obtained purpose.  I disagree with that whole theory because fulfillment means "accomplishment, achievement, realization, or completion".  Fulfillment is mentioned as if it is a journey, when actually, it is the conclusion of one.    This word clearly implies an ending of some sort. On the other hand, purpose is a term of position; meaning, "the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists".  Therefore, our purpose should be aligned with our reason for existing.   This cannot happen if we are unaware of WHO we are.  It is time to arrest purpose and seek.
