Week 4: Journey to 36

Good Morning Everyone,

All I can say is this past week has been AMAZING. I didn't meet my gym or yoga goal (none), but I went to the gym twice, worked out at home with my weights, with walking and running intervals. I totally gave in to my menstrual "I just want to lay in bed and relax" mode and I'm okay with that. Last week while at the gym, I mixed my weight training with my cardio and enjoyed that more, because even though I was tired with lots of energy lol, it allowed me to give in to my menstrual of more relaxation. I'm also continuing to eat more healthy carbs like my Food Therapist suggested.

Last week, I had brown rice with my lunch and dinner, and getting more for this week. Ohhhhhhhhh and I enjoyed a piece of Nantucket Cake, that I shared to keep me from eating the whole slice. And the crazy part is the cake was the only sweets I had during my menstrual... THAT'S HUGE FOR ME..... honestly, my sugar cravings are still gone and I think it's due to the sea moss I added to my health and fitness journey over these past weeks. I don't think I told y'all about the sea moss. Welllllll, I started sea moss smoothies and gel because of all the nutrients I read about and my sugar cravings, but I was skeptical because I never tried it....well all I can say is, sea moss is a part of my life now lol and I love it.

Welp, since last week was so amazing and my menstrual is over, I'm pushing for weights with cardio at least four times this week, so I can enjoy more rest days......and at least one day with yoga. The highlight of last week was just embracing being a woman and learning it's totally okay not to be okay sometimes but, just DON'T GIVE UP on yourself in whatever area that is, in YOUR LIFE. I love you guys and can't wait to update y'all next week
