Week 6: Journey to 36

Good Afternoon, Everyone!

Last week I didn't meet all my goals, I went to the gym twice for lifting heavier weights, but I worked out at home with lighter weights as well. My allergies were kicking my butt and I wasn't getting much sleep. So, this week I plan on getting MORE SLEEP. I conversed with my Food Therapist about the weight gain and just shared that I know my hormones were all over the place and I wasn't getting much sleep. She stated both play a role in fitness and weight. I know she was telling me the truth because a personal trainer (Don) I had in the past had us research everything lol. I also want to work on yoga, because I don't have [proper balance and stress management techniques. I think it will really help me with this part of my journey.

Oh, I already gave up on Burn Boot Camp. I actually loved the classes, but I thought they worked out with weights all the time, but every class is different. So for now I'm just going to stick with the gym for weights. But please check them out, if you think it will benefit your journey.

I'm still taking my sea moss smoothies and gel. But let me break it down, so y'all not thinking I take it 24/7 lol. I alternate days, meaning I take the gel one day, then the next day I have a smoothie. My Food Therapist only recommends I have a certain amount every day, because of the many nutrients it has, but she loves the fact I'm taking it. It's still helping me with my cravings and snacking, which has been a lifesaver. I do however eat 3-5 meals a day, count macros, and I'm on a calorie deficit. I also have a cheat meal every week and I don't mean junk food or sweets. I mean I have a meal and don't count the macros or calories, which equals me usually going over my calories and I'm okay with that. But don't get it twisted I'm planning sugar dates because there are things I still love.

  • What's a sugar date? A date set aside for me to have a waffle with the works, ice cream, candy, etc. I call it MY BALANCE (LOL ).

  • WEIGHTS, SLEEP, YOGA is the focus for this week and I'm actually excited to see how I do.

Well, guys, it's time for me to say goodbye, but I can't wait to update y'all next week....... remember to be patient with yourself and even if you mess up, everyday is a fresh start.

Love,
Rysse
