Week 16! Please Read, a special update from Bre!
Good Afternoon Beautiful People,
I'm going to keep this short and sweet because this weekend I'm doing nothing but resting and being lazy. I use to feel bad about being lazy for days, but not this weekend. My body is tired and I'm listening.
Last week was another awesome week. Even though I didn't meet my gym goal, I exceeded my hiking and cardio, and I'm okay with not meeting my gym goal. Next week I plan on a lot more cardio, but going to the gym two to three times.... because I know strength training is important to what I'm trying to accomplish with my fitness.
I just want to remind everyone that this journey is very hard at times. You're words keep me going when sometimes I want to give up. I love fitness, but sometimes I want to eat a box of pizza and have ice cream while binge-watching one of my favorite shows. Then I think of where I started from. I think of why I'm doing this and one of these reasons is to help other people know they're not alone on this journey and it's okay to have bad days and be vulnerable...... because one thing I learned is that those days don't last, and the good days outweigh you and me missing up. Continue to push and enjoy every minute of your journey, nobody if it's a good or bad day.

UPDATE FROM BRE: I decided a few days ago that I would skip weighing in today; however, people need to see how the weight loss journey isn’t perfect. We may hit rough patches but that doesn’t mean the journey stops. I haven’t felt like myself these past few weeks/months and when it’s hard to do basic life tasks, it’s even harder to workout and eat right. We have 6 months left in the year and I plan to be my best self. I’m writing this before I even step on the scale but it’s okay and I’m okay. The journey continues.
